Why We Created This Platform
Eating out seems challenging because it feels like there are very little healthy options. And if there is, the options are often expensive, putting a hole in your bank account.
This was the general trend that was noticed while our founder worked with many athletes & business executives as a sport nutritionist over the years. As there were no alternative solutions to support his clients at that time, we started building an eat out resource to help them healthier food options around their accommodation and workplace, so they have no excuse when it comes to eating for their goals.
Fast forward to 2022, we have more than 50 locations around Singapore, with over 480 F&B shops in our resources, and decided that it is time to provide this resource to a wider audience: You!
With this resource, we hope to help you find healthier options while eating out, so you too, can lead a healthier lifestyle without missing out on business dinners nor feel like you are just another gym bunny. After all, life is too short to not enjoy the amazing cultures and culinary around the world. Don’t you agree?
Our Definition of “Healthier”
The definition of “Healthy/Healthier” can be really subjective.
When it comes to eating out, our definition of healthier is simple: to help you find more vegetables and proteins.
Food cooked outside are designed to taste good so as to attract customers, and to achieve that, is often filled with carbohydrates (rice, noodles, pasta) and fats (heavy dressing, deep fried oily food). While we need the mentioned for energy, we often find it difficult to receive other beneficial nutrients like vegetables for it’s vitamins and mineral, and proteins for it’s appetite regulation alongside recovery benefits.
The result? We find ourselves sleepy after lunch, hungry easily, and oftentimes very sore after a workout.
Helping you find more protein and vegetables allows us to help you prioritize on getting good nutrients without forcing you to restrict yourself of the food you love.
